The WCDANM is a unique opportunity to disseminate scientific research related to the areas of Mathematics and Statistics in general, with particular relevance in Computational Data Analysis and Numerical Methods in the theoretical and/or practical domain, using new techniques. Special emphasis is placed on applications in Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, Engineering, Industry, Environmental Sciences, Finance, Insurance, Management and Economics. The meeting will provide a forum for discussion and debate of ideas of interest to the scientific community in general. New scientific collaborations between colleagues are expected, particularly new collaborations in master’s and doctoral projects. The event is open to the entire scientific community (with or without communication/poster).
Prize for best Poster, in the young researcher category (Master’s or PhD student or with a degree obtained no more than 3 years ago): €100 book voucher from Edíções Sílabo.
